CDFA // BNY Mellon Development Finance Webcast Series: Historic Preservation Financing
Preserving historic buildings is critical to retaining our heritage for future generations and has a positive environmental impact. By reusing the existing built environment and reducing the use of new materials and pressure on landfills, restoring historic buildings is one of the largest forms of recycling there is. However, these projects can often be prohibitively expensive and there remain real hurdles to development in this form. During this installment of the CDFA // BNY Mellon Development Finance Webcast Series, we explore the challenges of historic preservation projects and how financing tools can be combined to make preservation projects possible.
