Former Use

Medical (hospital) campus since early 1900's - 6.3 acres developed over period of decades. Site is made up of 16 tax lots situated on all four corners of an intersection.

Land Use

One building on Property is still in use by County - provides County Health Services. All other building on Property are vacant. One of the vacant buildings is the original hospital constructed in 1929, designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel (T&H) of Portland, OR and Boise, ID. Of note, T&H designed the Idaho State Capitol.

Infrastructure

Property is located in a residential area with water, sewer, fiberoptic, and other utilities available. Interstate 5 (North/south freeway from California to British Columbia) is approximately 10 miles by City streets from Property.

Assessment Level

Phase 3/4

Additional assessment is needed to determine whether any contamination issues exist re: Power Plant. Some asbestos and other hazardous building materials removal still is required for the Old "A" Street Hospital Building. Finally, some underground storage tanks have been identified and would need to be removed as part of site development.
