National Summit Agenda

The full agenda for CDFA's 30th National Development Finance Summit will be posted soon.

We are excited to announce some changes to the event format. The CDFA National Summit will transition into a forward thinking event, focused on the current wave of cutting-edge deals, projects and programs in development finance. This new focus will allow industry participants to explore and showcase deals, projects and programs that push the development finance envelope. This format will also allow communities that are considering the use of new financing approaches to examine real life examples alongside the thought leaders behind these transactions.

Deals, projects or programs will fit into one of the following broad categories:
Green Infrastructure & Environment: Water, Clean Energy, EE/RE, PACE, Food, Resiliency, Brownfields

Public-Private Partnerships (P3): Transportation, Parking, Transit, Energy, Government Buildings

Arts & Culture: Non-Profit, Tourism, Creative Industries, Historic

Small Business & Entrepreneurs: Minority Business, Women-Owned Business, Non-Profit, Seed & Venture, Underserved Markets, Manufacturing

Revitalization: Urban, Downtown, Small Town, Rural, Main Street, Reshored Manufacturing

Health & Higher Education: Hospitals, Clinics, Assisted Living, University, Charter School

Rural: Healthcare, Education, Energy, Water, Broadband
All types of financing will be on display with an emphasis on bonds, tax increment, tax credits, access to capital, EB-5, special assessment and early stage capital. Projects involving impact investing, social impact bonds, crowdfunding, credit enhancement, or other unique sources will also be presented. As will projects or programs that include multiple funding sources.

Presenters will be given two opportunities during the agenda to provide their remarks so that attendees will have access to dozens of sessions to attend. The goal is to maximize your opportunity to learn and network at the same time.

Intro Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Finance Course (extra fee event prior to National Summit)
Intro Food Systems Finance Course (extra fee event prior to National Summit)
National Summit Kickoff Opening Reception

November 3
All day session programming

November 4
Half day session programming with adjournment at 12:00pm
