Together, state and federal tax credits will total about $1.8 million for the Gray Goose project in Janesville. City tax increment financing loans for the project totals $500,000, according to city records.

Verona's city council voted to close the Epic Systems TIF district, paving the way for the city to collect taxes from the health software company. The district was created in 2002 as an incentive to lure Epic into Verona. The city spent over $31 million in infrastructure improvements and incentives.
Milwaukee Tool Breaks Ground on HQ Expansion with Nearly 600 Jobs
Milwaukee Tool has been certified under the WEDC Enterprise Zone Program to earn up to $18 million in state income tax credits over a period of six years based on retention and creation of full-time employment positions and significant capital investment for both their Brookfield and Mukwonago facilities.
Utilities Aim to Cut WI Program for Energy Efficiency
A utility-backed bill to cut funding for Wisconsin's energy-efficiency program is short-sighted and would hurt customers in the long run, the program's supporters contend. The bill would cut funding for the Focus on Energy program by $7 million.
