$21M REDI RLF Will Target Transit Oriented Development
The program offers loans of up to $5 million with a fixed interest rate of 3.89 percent for up to 48-84 months. Each property acquired using the fund will be required to have a share of units affordable to households at or below 80 percent of area median income, or 20 percent below market rent.

Under recently enacted ordinances, companies in Baltimore, Harford, Howard counties and Baltimore City can agree to pay more in property taxes to finance energy efficiency improvements. The governments would pass the payments along to lenders that front the costs for the improvements.
