Colorado Springs Innovation Non-Profit Lands $250K Grant
According to the Gazette, this grant is one of six that the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) awarded under its Advanced Industry Accelerator Infrastructure Grant Program, designed to reach across the state's advanced industries.
CO Local Jurisdictions Once Again Splash in Severance Tax Cash
According to Summit Daily, local jurisdictions in Colorado are utilizing the Energy Impact Grant program. During the last two years, $39.8 million went directly to road repairs, $42.8 million went to sewer and water projects, and $7 million went to flood recovery efforts.
Colorado Lending Source Receives SBA, NADCO Awards
The U.S. SBA has recognized Colorado Lending Source as the state's "504 Large Certified Development Company of the Year." Additionallly, the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) announced Colorado Lending Source as a recipient of the Innovation in Economic Development Award.
NCEDC Fund Boosts Loveland Business Accelerator
According to the Coloradoan, the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado provided a $130,000 grant to Loveland's new Warehouse Business Accelerator. The Warehouse provides access to advice, capital, supply-chain partners, market connections, and physical resources to accelerate revenue growth.
CO Equity Fund Testing Waters of Impact Investments
The Colorado Impact Fund is a newly launched private equity fund with a social and environmental focus. According to the Denver Post Business, Colorado Impact Fund officials say they hope financial capital from locally based investors can help companies stay and grow in Colorado.
