Thurmont Recreation Company Builds New Headquarters in Baltimore
Playground Specialists, a full-service recreation company, has expanded its presence in Thurmont and plans to add up to 25 new jobs.
Taneytown Manufacturer Expansion Eligable for Tax Credits
EVAPCO, Inc., a global designer and manufacturer of evaporative cooling and industrial refrigeration products, is expanding its manufacturing operations in Carroll County and adding 125 new jobs over the next five years. The company is also eligible for various tax credits including Maryland's Job Creation Tax Credit.
Freshly to Open Meal Distribution Center in Howard County
Freshly, a health-conscious food delivery service headquartered in New York City, is opening a meal distribution center in Savage and plans to add 500 new jobs by the end of 2018. The company is eligible for various tax credits, including Maryland's Job Creation Tax Credit.
New Development Transforms MD Public Housing Site with Tax Credits
The new Stone Grove Crossing development delivers 84 modern, affordable homes on a former public housing site in Wicomico County, MD.
Rappaport's Skyland Town Center Signs a Tenant and Uses an $18.75M TIF District to Get Project Back on Track
Rappaport Cos, co-developer of the troubled Ward 7 project, said Tuesday that CVS has signed a lease for 10,000 square feet in the18-acre town center. Rappaport also said it has closed on $58.5 million in EB-5 foreign investment.
MD Takes Stand For Renewables with Tax Incentives
Gov. Larry Hogan announced new environmental initiatives, proposing Maryland spend nearly $65M next year on tax incentives, job training and a "Green Energy Institute."
