$6M Pump Station in TX to be Funded By Water District Bond
Improved water pressure is coming down the pipes for more than 200 homes in the Travis County Water Control and Improvement District 10 service area. The pump station, which costs approximately $6 million will be funded by a nearly $46 million water district bond.
Lakeway Seeks $23M Bond to Fund Police Station
In May, Lakeway residents will determine whether or not they want to pass a $23 million bond to fund the land acquisition and construction for a new police station.

Abilene City Council Discusses New Ways to Fund Streets
The Abilene City Council met to outline the city's budget priorities as part of a new approach to deciding how to spend taxpayer dollars. One of the major topics discussed was how to fund street repairs and maintenance. Instead of asking voters to approve a bond issue to fund streets, council members tossed around other ideas.
